Am i the only one who thinks criminal minds is the best show on tv
59Hands down this is my favorite television show. For fans of gore, it provides the fix that's been missing from formulaic horror
movies for the longest. You get a crime show, a horror show, and a soap opera all in one. I'm so glad they don't have the
quirky music and corny jokes that
some "csi" and other cop shows have. They have a dark soundtrack/score and sick sense of humor that matches the subject
matter. And the characters personalities reflect those of people who deal with the worst of the worst in society. Like it
or not, serial killers are as american as apple pie. The creeps come out at night. They always point out the fact that the
serial killers are the ones who live next door to us. People who knew them describe them as normal, or quiet loners, but
never sociopathic mass murderers. This is the only show on tv that has me addicted. I can watch 4 or 5 episodes in a row
and be completely entertained.
Let's introduce the characters-
- reid(supernerd prodigy guy)-played by Matthew Gray Gubler
- morgan(black guy, judo expert)-played by shemar moore
-hotch(slim team leader)-played by Thomas Gibson
-garcia(blonde computer genius)-played by Kirsten Vangsness
-prentiss(new latino brunette)-played by Paget Brewster
-jj(blonde, chooses what cases the team works)-played by A.J. Cook
-gideon(old crooked nose white guy)-played by Mandy Patinkin
-greenaway(latino lady)-played by Lola Glaudini
-rossi (new old brunette dude. veteran profiler, author)-played by Joe Mantegna
I like how the main characters defy stereotypes. They don't have the sterotypical black, latino, or female
characters. Garcia is arguably the smartest one on the show. Morgan may be the toughest but he balances his brawn with
brains. Now we just need an asian girl! strong competent female characters.
psychological thriller
I like how this show digs beneath the surface. The name is fitting because the profiling goes so deep into what makes a
criminal commit a crime. Whether it's childhood abuse or a rebellious worldview. why do people do what they do? What would
turn one of us into a monster? The scary part is there's probably a serial killer out there reading this right now.
realistic
Most of these scenarios seem like they could really happen. It's a miracle how the characters deal with the worst
elements of society but somehow hold on to their own humanity. But it comes at a price. Like all cop shows there are
relationship problems. Hotchner is divorced and his wife is killed by the reaper. Garcia is shot. Reid is kidnapped.
Morgan is cornered and knocked unconscious by the reaper. JJ is kidnapped. gideons friend is killed and later he quits.
greenaway is shot. Don't you just love this job?
current events
A lot of the episodes seem like they could be plucked from today's headlines. I love how they deal with current political
issues like immigration
and snuff films. And the characters on the show are just as connected as we are in real life. They might not even be able
to solve a case if garcia
wasn't on the computer at all times.
Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, make sure you watch a full episode of criminal minds television show online on hulu.com or fastpasstv.com. You won't regret it. I just hope they
don't ruin it by doing something crazy like changing the cast. btw, did you know that a criminal
minds video game is currently in production? cool.
p.s. unsub is short for unknown subject. your welcome
